Just got the PW today, have the surface cleaner, most chems, reels, hoses, boxes, tote, etc. Had some snow then a thaw, today it is a balmy 41 degrees. Needless to day my truck and trailer and tractor are muddy now from driving through my field. I park the trailer in the field, harder to steal that way.
@Innocentbystander it looks like it came with a pallet for a skid is that good?
Anyway, thanks everyone who has been helping me out. I will be asking very annoying questions as soon as we get a solid weather break. I’m putting it my crowded workshop for now.
I have it in my workshop, which is packed. I will take some photos of it soon, as soon as I clear out some space. I used to heat it and work in it a lot, but that is too expensive now that I am retiree on a fixed income.
Yes sir, I did. I took a little of what eveyone told me, calculated the cost of adding a hot box later on if I got a cold water unit and considered ease of use for a nick the new guy. For my purposes getting it as an all in one was easier and a little cheaper. I like cheaper. I am sure there are people on here who are a little more mechanically inclined and could do it cheaper separately, but a man has to know his limitations. I figured if I can get every bit of knowledge about chems, processees, and procedures and learn that first, later on I can teach myself some tinkering on build 2.0 IF I last that long. I really hope my plan for commercial flatwork pans out, if not, well, the hot water unit will be used but not profitable.
I am hoping that flatwork will pay the bills and deck work will make me money. I will see. As said by someone much more eloquent than me the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
