What is the smallest watt generator that I could use to run my 115v hot box?

Depends on which one you have, one like northern tool 4gpm 4000 psi requires a 120v 15 amp outlet, so that would be 1,800 watts. I would go with more depending on the space you have for future use, lighting etc. Also at start up you will draw more amps as well. I would say 2,000 would be minimum.

Thanks. That’s what I needed to know. I’m looking for something I can pick up and move by myself. Found a 1800 surge x 1400 continuos, but thought it might be to small. I do have that North Star hotbox.

Your Welcome, yes that will work just fine, that one draws 5 amps continuos, so 600 watts.
