Does anyone ever clean generators and if so how much do you charge? I normally price everything based on square footage, but this want work obviously. So I’m thinking trip change and hourly rate but I would really like to hear from someone who has experience in this. Also these are large commercial generators
We had a storm roll through and I had to break out my generator. She’s been running for 3 hours now…
Still no power!
But not to derail the thread, the answer is no!
Some of those things are worth 5x my house. Too many electronics to deal with. Not to mention you may not know until they go to test or need it that you damaged something. Too many potential headaches
Pass.,.i was contacted for a job last year cleaning generators that were in fields all around the area. Took one look and said hmm I don’t think my insurance would cover me spraying a generator lol. I’d be sure to ask them before you even put a bid in.
