Gas station canopy

Do you have a picture? I am doing my first one this Saturday. It’s a truck stop, 24hrs show. They said they hired some home depot pressure washer and that he brushed it with a soft brush but didn’t do the whole thing and now it looks uneven. I told them if they want me to brush it, I will need a scissor lift and it will take some time, they said no. So I was thinking of a degreaser like f9.

Note that the original thread was from 10 years ago.

Dam i just saw this. Thank you very much. I tried doing the job with an xjet and ebc degreaser and it didnt work . Might have to use a scissor lift

Hopefully, somebody has some advice, do you?

I’ve seen videos, and Hot water is used effectively.

You should hit up @Hotshot as this is most likely soot from diesel truck up there and as a rubber scrubber he has to get those shiny stacks clean.

On a side note, there was a washer on here from Tennessee I believe and he had issues removing soot and exhaust from a warehouse garage ceiling. I think he wound up using a butyl and degreaser combo, but can’t remember what his name was.

I did use hot water. Didn’t work. I believe i havd to rent out the lift

Thank you. I just messaged him. Yea man, that stuff hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The ebc degreaser was pretty pricey around $160 5 gallon

this is just one vid, but I was thinking of john lange, but it was COLD water and EBC.

Ima try the 4 gallons of sh and 32oz of ebc lets see if thats works. I also rented a lift for this upcoming Saturday. I will be taking brushes in case. Gonna have to charge another 1k plus rental. I seen the comments, did he pass away?
