Probably, it’s reduced down to 1/4" for the injector barb.
To whom did she say that? @garry.cooper
Ok, just curious.
@dcbrock you still using that exact unit? I may get one if it handles its business.
Game changer for me recently was the grinder and the reusable 3/8 fittings for pressure hoses. Now I can cut off the busted end when it blows, attach the temp
Fitting and keep washing in 5 minutes and finish my jobs until I get to a hydraulic shop to get the end crimped on. I’m not throwing my hose away. I’ll keep fixing 150 ft hose until it’s a 2 ft whip line.
What reusable fittings are you using?
That’s not how it works lol I mean it’s not like hose has a indefinite life span.
Don’t repair hose. Throw it away when you get a blow out
Agreed. After a second blowout, the whole hose becomes a huge liability. Who’s to say someone won’t be walking by and get smacked in the face the next time it blows?
Well my blowout isn’t the hose. It’s the ends! I love the hose company hose, but when I use hot water the outer casing gets soft and the crimps slip off the end. I should have specified my bad
I used to use the hottest water available when I first started out thinking it was making a difference. I went through several hoses and every time it was when the water was at high heat. Now if I use heat I stay down to about 150 to 170
I stay around 150 now but over time it still seems to slip off. I’ll drop it to 140 and keep dropping it till it doesn’t slip off

The smallest 12v valve teejet makes is 3/4" and it works great. I’m sure 1" works good too. I would think the mix or water would end up filling the entire valve when down streaming but that’s just a guess. Maybe it just trickles through?
@Redjess Hey Jesse, if you get the Teejet 12v valve get it in 3/4" and get the 3 way. It’ll last longer if you flush it everyday. The two way valve would work but you’d have to fill up a couple 5 gallon buckets to flush it. It’s much easier just hitting your off button on the remote and it automatically goes to pulling water. We’ll worth the additional $75 or whatever it is.
Thanks @marinegrunt for the explanation on the 3 way. I need to get that one.
Bahaha, I must assure you @garry.cooper she did not say that about this UCF Knight, but maybe she was referring to a certain swamp creature population? (oh look, my gloves jumped off my hands)
