Itās my nephew but no he doesnāt have a lot of money. Heās in the Army so I donāt really know what they pay 20 year old guys but I know it isnāt much. Heās a good kid. I like to think he likes me but then again you donāt get to choose your family.

This one goes out to all the new guys. Been meaning to make this post for a while, this is my second year pw and my biggest game changers between this year and last are:
Getting a larger down stream tank. I pull from a 55 gal now but last year it was a 5 gal pail and I would have to stop what iām doing and refill it on most jobs. I also buy my SH in bulk now, I was at the pool store every other day last year buying single gallon jugs.
Getting some quality hanay reels. Nothing electric but these things roll so smooth compared to my old cheap reels.
Three way ball valve for easy rinsing out down stream injector. No more filling up a bucket after every job to flush out the injector. I just flip the valve as I do my final walk around hitting leakers and such.
Last but not least is getting an 8 gpm machine. It actually pulls more like 9-10 gpm and it cuts about 20 mins off an average house as long as the water pressure is alright. Also helps on those days the wind is coming strong off Lake Erie! This thing has allowed me to do almost 20k/month solo. 20k is the goal for June but it wonāt be easy.
I know none of my game changers are groundbreaking but if youāre new and not doing these things already, then do it because it will make your life easier.

This!!! I fought against it because in Canada they are very expensive, but man, I wish I had never bought anything else.
I now have one for my pw hose and one for my supply line and it just makes the work so much easier. I hated fighting against my crappy reels.
So smooth that it unwinds itself when Iām pulling hose. The one I use for my supply has been squeaking louder everyday tho
