Got sick of washing?

No, I enjoy washing. I’m tired of running a business. I’m making plenty of money at my full-time job and I may be promoting soon, so I’ll need to give more time and attention to my family at home and my “family” at work. They all deserve my best, and I can’t give them that if I’m spreading myself too thin just to make extra money that I don’t really need.

Well said. It’s the behind the scenes that are the hardest and most draining. Very few realise this starting out, the washing part is the fun part! Good luck to you :+1::+1:

Congrats Jesse. But I’m going to miss having someone reliable I can trust that I can refer someone to in your area and of course I appreciate the referrals you’ve sent me over the years. Who bought it? Is it someone who has any experience?

PS: For those of you who don’t know, Jesse and I are about 50min to an hour apart. It’s been great having someone you can whole heartedly trust to refer jobs to. If you can develop this type of relationship with someone in your area, will make your life a lot easier.

Thank you Rick!

Kyle @Crystal-Clean bought it. He knows what he’s doing, and he’s always been one of the guys I could trust to refer to people. If you haven’t gotten in touch with him yet, I recommend you do…he’s a great guy and he covers the same areas I did.

But, but …aren’t we all supposed to be scratching and clawing each others’ eyes out over the only 3 jobs in town? That’s the way people act sometimes, lol.

Wise words spoken by @Racer there. Even within your service area, it pays to have relationships. We’ve been referring people out wh aren’t flexible on their timing for a couple of months now. It pays to have people so that you can do that. It has gone both ways in this time of COVID too. The more quality providers there are in your area, the higher the expectations get for the clientele, and the more people who do shoddy work get relegated to the sidelines. People often view us as little more than a handyman service, not pros with legit equipment and training. Advancing the industry (especially in and around your area) is good for everyone.

Glad you found a solid buyer. I would have entertained it if you were a little bit closer…we’re going to try and keep it in VA at least, lol :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
