Will certainly take pics… really not sure how itll turn out, but gonna give it a shot. Since the wife won the turkey, we have 32lbs worth of turkey for 3 ppl and a 1 yr old.
Im gonna eat all the skin from both turkeys.

My mom has 15 brothers and sisters so just imagine how many cousins there are. Now all the cousins have kids and some of those kids have kids. We have to rent out a hall for holiday dinners.

Luckily I’m at my wife’s side where there are only like 12 of us total including their dog…lol… I can hardly do the ones on my side. Too many people for me. Feels like my head is going to explode from all the voices.

That’s the only way I know how to cook a turkey. In fact, I’m too good for turkey from an oven now. Deep fried and rotisserie turkey have spoiled me and made me poultry pretentious. Turkey from the oven is for those with less refined poultry pallets.

I measure water level twice… guess i didnt get it in there the same angle/way as earlier. Little is not submerged in the oil??? Smells good though

If it’s just a bit it will be ok. It will boil over the top of the turkey.
Just got my sweatpants on and in my comfy chair and it started sleeting… guess I’ll go spread salt before the Black Friday monsters fall.

Wasnt a huge fan of the marinade i used to inject… wasnt terrible and i cud have done it terribly. But overall was very good.
