Frying a turkey

Creamy, not crunchy.

I gobble up as much dark meat as I possibly can hold , next three days , hot Turkey dinners, then come the breasts for cold Turkey Sammy’s with blue plate mayo and lettuce on wonder bread, then comes putting all the rest in a meat grinder for Turkey salad on rye toast, then Turkey noodle soup. Lol, a week later if I cut myself at work, I leak gravy…

You forgot Turkey salad. lol.
Use what ya got at the time. If Turkey is in my house , it doesn’t have a chance my friend.

It’s been a while so this year we decided to do a seafood thanksgiving. Grouper some gumbo and a whole lot of crawfish and crab legs .
Also my some will be bringing back some turkey from grandmas house . Still need some turkey on thanksgiving

I do love a good seafood and crawfish boil, I gotta use the zattarans seafood boil bags. Makes the taters ,corn and sausage taste amazing.

That’s boil in a bag thing is popping up in restaurant all over now .
I don’t like how it makes the crab shells brittle.
I spent more time picking it out than eating

I don’t know what they are using, but I’ve never had a problem with this product. pinky swear

I’m not sure either. I just know the last restaurant I went to served me my entire mean boiled in a bad . I didn’t taste bad I was just a pita to eat .

Equal parts garlic powder/thyme/oregano for the dry rub apply inside and out

Melt 1 stick of butter 1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon of dry rub each ingredient

Tip: after you draw up your injection continuously move it as it cools slightly so the injection is the same

Oh also take potatoes cube them par boil dump in oil after Turkey. Drain well cover with cheese place in the oven to melt cheese. Or dust with sea salt garlic powder and parmesan cheese use sparingly gets real salty real quick
