So I added about 60 ounces of fresh wash to my bulk sh tank on my truck skid 3 days ago. 60oz in 35 gallons of sh. I washed a house today and I didn’t get the suds like I did the first day and it definitely lost its masking ability. Still washed great but it was an easy home. Until my pw build is done and I start downstreaming I won’t be making bucket batches.
Anyone else ever had this problem? Stuffs expensive and I don’t want to add more if it’s going to wear off that quick!
Washed fine because it wasn’t a bad house. Saw barley any suds out of the mix and no cover scent. I was basically just doing a sh only wash. That may be fine for some but I like some soaps working to break surface tension. I have 2 houses to do tomorrow and 3 on friday.
Well, if you have already decided there is a problem, why are you asking on this forum…get some more surfactant. I use a surfactant, but I seldom see suds on a house…they all clean fine, so, I would rather not have suds to have to rinse. Houses mostly have mildew…bleach gets the mildew, suds are not necessary for a surfactant to work.
He’s asking because he wants to know if anyone else experienced the same thing. Perfectly legitimate question. He doesn’t need your snarkiness. Personally I like a lot of suds, I add a lot more surfactant than generally recommended.
If your mix tank is easy to get to, give it a stir with a short piece of pvc pipe before you wash. Your suds will be back. At least it is with Elemonator.
Just get out of here man… I’ve never said one ill word to you, and you bust me up on all kinds of threads. I feel like you are still upset about being wrong over that darn ball-joint breaking! @Steve answered my question and @squidskc cleared up a way to fix it. MOVE ALONG!
Everyone just ignore him from here on out. I don’t want this thread being deleted because it gets nasty because it may be useful to someone down the road. That’s the point of this for him not us arguing.
