I can not tell you how many times I have fallen asleep in a camp chair, babysitting a brisket.

I’ve experimented with the Carolina mustard recipes with pork, and I gotta say, I like them.
I have won several local BBQ competitions, (local meaning my home town, at our yearly festival)(3 or 4 competitors, and we all know and like each other)( We all have A LOT of fun poking fun at each other)
That being said, as an award winning BBQ chef, I would like to know some of the recipes that you guys have.

I don’t have a recipe. I have 5 of the nation’s top 25 BBQ joints in my back yard and the national championships at Kansas Speedway. I’m partial to Arthur Bryant’s, but Jack Stacks and Joe’s BBQ in the gas station are my top 3.

Not so fast… Arthur Bryant’s restaurant has pictures of many of the presidents, pro athletes, and celebrities eating there and has been around since 1908. And in a book titled Real Barbecue: The Classic Guide To BBQ Joints Across The United States it was given the title of “Most famous BBQ joint in America”.
I will say, that AB’s has two locations. A new one and an old one. The old one is superior to the new one based on atmosphere alone.

That doesn’t count. They could have been going or coming across the nation amd stopped in at Arthurs. Wilbers is at the end of the country. You have to be going there to get there. Heck, i drive two hours there to stock up when we are running low on collards.I got that book as a present one year. Makes you want to travel to each place

I want to add roof washing to my business. It probably won’t be warm enough here in MN until April, but I’d love to get some hands on training too. Anyone within 800 miles of Minneapolis willing to train me for free labor?
