I’m no Veteran, but this applies to pretty much everything in life. People see you doing something successfully and ask how; after telling them that it’s been years in the making and lots and lots of practice, they still keep asking or better yet even trying to tell you how they think you can do it better… After a few years of doing this and reading through forums, I think it comes down to most people just wanting you to tell them what they want to hear… there’s a very small percentage of them who will actually listen and take your advice.
