Funny!

I worked up on the border of Canada for 6 months hanging with all of the locals. I ended up coming home and saying “ya know” Then I was transferred to Amarillo TX. I think people thought I was a weird breed of Illinois and Canada…

When I got back home I was saying “y’all” and “don’t ya know” in the same sentences…

I went to college in NC. It’s like a different country compared to NJ. I loved it. We had the Barbeque conversation many a times.

I use mustard base for pulled pork and ribs.

Pig with mustard is pig with mustard, but it isn’t bbq. There are a few North Carolinians west of Lexington that put tomato based sauce on their bbq. We all know it’s wrong but they are brothers so we look the other way. Mustard on pig, ribs, beef, chicken, brisket etc may taste good. But it ain’t bbq

Vinegar based!

I just use it as a binder to get the rub to stick well.

See, there you go. There is no rub on bbq lol. I do like day rub on some baby back ribs. But that is rub on a pig. It ain’t bbq
