Flushing 12v pumps

Does anyone have a solution for flushing the pump without wasting the 200’ of chem still in the line?

I have an idea, not sure if it’s new or not, but I’m going to try it. Or someone here can let me know if this will work.

On the discharge side of the pump put a y with a ball valve of each hose. When you are using to wash, keep the short “flush hose valve” closed. When you flush, keep the 200’ main line ball valve closed. And so on?

Will this affect performance?

This works but it’s not very convenient. I’m just trying to get all my ideas in order to setup a trailer most efficiently

Just remeber the more fittings and valves you add the more chance you have to suck air!

Sharpe is right. Simple always works best. The reason I did it that way was for transferring chemicals also.

I do what @Sharpe does. Only at the end of the day though. Not going to lie, I did half of a small roof the other day and sprayed water on it cause my guy flushed it after a deck earlier in the day. Thought I was making good time lol
