I am getting into commercial jobs and need have all my ducks in a row. I am using a trial of Gusto right now for payroll and WC, does anyone have any other suggestions for these?
I also need to get my truck on a commercial auto policy. Called USAA this morning and they quoted $5300/yr. That seems insanely high to me. Who are you guys using, and what kind of rates are you seeing?

Progressive was $1650 a year for me in Texas for commercial auto.
That’s fairly close to what I pay for full coverage on 3 trucks and I mean full coverage

Im not to far from tampa, im in polk county and pay commercial auto for 2 trucks at $2400 year. Im the only listed driver on policy
I’ve got progressive for commercial auto with hired/non owned and I believe it’s under $1,200 for the year. I am near Atlanta, so any but here is probably cheaper too.
Progressive was who quoted me the $5800. They are contracted by USAA. I’m in Pasco County, right next door.
I would try a commercial auto broker who can check multiple places.
Auto owners and State Farm seem to have the best rates on commercial. In with auto owners now but was with State Farm I believe it’s $4400 a year. 3 vehicles and 3 drivers . And it’s the commercial plus policy. To get it you have to have at least 3 years of previous commercial insurance
