Flexzilla Hose connection

Hello,

I am new to the industry. I have just purchased a flexzilla 100ft 5/8 hose, and am wanting to know what connections do I need to get to make it a quick connect to my pressure washer. Any help is much appreciated!

why do you need quick connect? Just take that quick connect off the machine and thread the hose right onto the black thing

it’ll be more convenient to have a quick connect attached

It’ll take the maybe 3 second more to thread the hose on. No quick connects = one less thing that will break or fail.

Go with Banjo camlocks. Cut the stock ends off the hoses and use 3/4” barbed fittings. Low profile clamps like band-it or clamptite will fit under the hose collars. Boiling water and a little dish soap will assist in getting the hose onto the oversized ends.

Or buy them with male and female GHT.

I have never seen the Clamptite you use but looks way cool. How long have you used it, how hard are they to use and how effective are they?

I use these. Solid brass, real easy to use.

It’s kinda fiddly to use but it works great on softer hoses; not so much on suction hose. For that I think the band-it clamps would be preferred, but I don’t feel like buying another tool, lol. I just get the heavy duty worm-drive clamps that have the internal ring.

Another good one is Oetiker clamps, pretty simple and fast.

Nickski, I like those but they will leak and aren’t full flow, Banjo or cam lock fittings are full flow and don’t leak.

They are 5/8 ID, so full flow for me since my soft wash setup is all 5/8 hose. I was using the cheap Amazon ones for years, and they all leaked over time. Had these for a year and still tight and leak free
