Hey Michael,

Just curious…Do you do truck interiors? Just a vacuum and window & dash wipedown. What’s been happening is once I get done with the exterior quite a bit of clients are asking about getting the interior done.

I guess 2-stepping is making them realize how clean their trucks can really be.

Do the areas or county/ cities require you to catch all runoff when fleet washing?

The county facilities that we have done didn’t require recovery. I haven’t run into any that call for it yet but I have looked into the recovery systems. If they let me get away with it I will just redirect the runoff into the landscape. Eco friendly soaps of course.

Kevin,
What types of soaps do you use that are eco friendly?
Do you try to use two types that will balance the PH level,etc. ?

The Athens/Clark Co. requires it and will fine $1,000.00 for each code violation.
I would like to get into some of this work ,but getting cold feet!

I get my soaps pre made from a local supplier here in Tucker.
We have had contracts from fulton county at their water resources facilities which was already equipped for the run off. But I would block off the drains with sand bags.

If the investment into a recovery system fits into your budget and profit from the contract then go for it.

I found that counties tend to take a lot longer to pay out.
