What’s up with flat hoses? I had one a while ago. It kinked like crazy and was basically unusable. I’ve never seen anybody hooking one up to a pressure washer. But fire fighters use nothing but flat hoses. They’d definitely be lighter and take up less room.
They use what’s called discharge hose. Usually 2” . That’s hose is used mainly because hose over 1” can be very stiff making it difficult to work with and even harder to store.
