First of all, not sure if this is considered “flagstone”. So I may be calling it the wrong thing.
Second, what would be the best way to attack these retaining walls? I was thinking i’ll use a 3-4% SH ratio applied with my 12V, let dwell for 10ish minutes, and rinse. I would have my helper watering down everything around us like a roof wash as a precaution. What are everyone’s thoughts?
When I’m doubt, turbo nozzle it out
Roof mix will definitely take care of that
Ok, I was thinking it would, but wasn’t 100% confident since that stone is known to be pretty porous.
Some of those areas you may need to hit a couple of times but you have the right idea.
Awesome, thanks for the confidence boost! These retaining walls are just part of the job. The rest is a 9,000 sqft house, an asphalt basketball courts, and 2 unstained wood decks. I’m hoping to have this bid accepted cause it’s a nice one.
With walls like that, I use straight SH in a pump up before the house wash and rinse afterwards. Very little to no runoff and it kills everything with one application. It May not be the fastest way but it’s safe.
Easy peasy wall to clean. Everyone else already hit the nail on the head. Take some good before and after shots because they’ll come out quite nicely.
