Fixing shooter tip?

What the hell. He’s only paying $30. I wouldn’t unload my equipment for that much less actually cut and edge, lol.

You and me both, amigo! I never miss my lawn and landscaping days but I still can’t break the habit of edging everything that can be. I’m seriously considering hiring a company when we buy a house because I fell behind on my yard this summer just due to being busy with my own work.

Got to have nice grass

Our grass is half dead anyway with the month long drought.

I agree. I love a nice lawn. I killed my whole lawn off the fall of 2017. These pictures are from the following fall.

Most stubborn dog I’ve ever seen. She’s listens good but she has to be stubborn before she does. You could have a big ole’ juicy ribeye steak in your hand, ask her to come here or go to her kennel, and she’ll first have to look you in the eyes, squat or lay down on all four legs, stare at you again, and then she’ll do what you tell her to do. It’s like she’s trying to tell you she’ll do but only when she’s ready. She only lays down for a second but she just has to be stubborn first. She’s a super smart dog. She also sings along with our son so imagine not only having our son singing up a storm at the top of his lungs but also a Husky howling along. She mainly only howls along to the Wheel of Fortune theme song (thank goodness she doesn’t howl to the Wiggles) but our son will rewind it 100 times in a row so they can both sing. After about the 10th time I always hear my wife yelling down to him to stop rewinding. Both him and the dog are stubborn cause he just keeps doing it…lol

So in other words…a cat.

Freaking Huskies. My brother has two of them. They’re beautiful and very playful and overall just a good time. But they are both jerks. They don’t want to be told what to do and will try everything in their power to get out of doing it. My dogs can be in a dead sprint after a cat and I can snap my fingers and they put on the brakes and come right back. I like dogs that listen lol

That pic of your lawn reminds me to start cutting and splitting all the trees I fell last winter. Been putting it off till now

That wood was from last fall and already long gone. I’ve got rounds laying all over the yard that still need split and stacked. I literally have no split wood stacked at all. I’ve been looking the rounds everyday for months wondering when I’m going to get a chance to get going on it. I’d normally have it all ready to go by now. I’ve been saying for 5 years I need to get about 3 seasons ahead and then I always put it off. I’m sure you know how it goes. It’s not on the top of the priority list until it has to be on the top of the priority list. Up until two years ago I split all my wood by hand and I’d burn about 18 face cords each winter. I enjoy splitting wood but not that much! I’ve had two back surgeries and have other back issues so probably something I should’ve stopped a long time ago…lol. Then again I think if I was as active as I am my back would probably be in worse shape.

Cut down 2 old cedars and a big oak the other day. I man seen the cedar and stopped by. Said he has never seen cedar red all the way though maybe only a half inch of white. He wanted to pay me for it. I declined and told him to take it. He came back on his tractor helped me finish cutting took what he wanted and cleaned up the mess the next day while i was at work. Moved all the wood next to my fire pit for me.

Edit: AND gave me a jar of “fire cherry” moonshine. (Haven’t tasted it yet) and bringing me a bowl he’s going to make me with a piece.
