A big issue with the android phones, at least awhile ago, was ransomware. Happened to my brother-in-law. Got it from something downloaded in the Play store.
I could be mistaken, but I don’t think there’s any ransomware in the Apple app store.
Androids are for kids. iPhones are for grownups. I mean, why else would they call it the Play store?
