First time with surface cleaner!

I dont know if linking to other forums is frowned upon here, so google the specific term i told you earlier - softwash calculator - and it’s the first result for me. Someone made an excel spreadsheet where you just plug in the numbers.

Yeah I saw that but it won’t more for me … I tried to sign up havent heard nothing yet… it comes up on my phone but I can’t change no numbers to c how it works

Are you talking about an app on your phone? I am talking about an excel spreadsheet that works on your computer. I’ll pm you the link.

Anyway, a 2 gallon 3% mix is: 1.5 gallons water, .5 gallon SH (at 12.5%), 2 oz. soap.

You can use more or less soap than that… i just estimated it at 1 oz. per gallon. Changing that amount wont really affect the bleach percentage of the solution. See how it works, and adjust the soap accordingly, if you think it needs it.

If you just need the mix for a post treatment, dont over complicate it.
Just throw in a littler over 1/4 SH and the rest water.
If using 10% 1/4 is 2.5 so add a little more to get 3%

Also trying to post treat with a pump up will be a pain, get an xjet. Im able to post treat with my DS and that works fine for most driveway.

Yeah I am going to invest in a x jet… right now I rigged up one of those ips pro sprayers to a 2 gallon spray bucket… it works pretty good right now for pre treating … also going to use it for my post treatment now

Sometimes surface cleaners dont do a good job. You should get a mondo swapper for this type of job. They are similar to the plubmis but without all the schleeb juice.

If you have a 2 gallon pump sprayer, to get mix %, divide the gal of SH by the total gal of mix, then multiply the % of your SH…for example- .5 gal SH/2 gal. total mix=.25, then .25 x SH % (12.5) .125 = 3.1% SH solution.

So what you are saying is that X*S/(b)3pi

genius!

What?

It was a troll. Ignore them.

Its simple. Halft of 12% is 6. A 1/4 of 12% is 3. Anything less than that you should use your ds.
