First stain job

So I took @MDA1775 and went with Wood Defender transparent. The customer chose cedar color. Not sure if I want to add it though. May do a couple more to make up my mind lol.

Looks good! How did you apply the stain?

Looks great! Now you can put them on a maintenance plan for every 2.5 yrs and you won’t have to clean it.

Thank you. Pump sprayer and brush to clean up runs. @MDA1775 When I go back to maintain you’re telling me no fence wash prep to restain?

2 things, 1. Unless you’re using the 200 series fence and deck, You don’t have to back brush the runs will just fade out. 2. At the 2-2.5 year point the algicide will generally still have everything under control, assuming that’s the case then you don’t have to clean it again. You’ll have to judge that when the time comes or if other things, like mud splatter become a factor.

I like it,what soloution did you use to clean, strip the fence?

I built the fence new. Ha I wish i could get a fence to look like that. However I normally do a housewash mix dwell 5-10 min, then rinse with around 1,000psi, and here recently began to post treat with ox dwell 3-5min and then rinse. I have some old panels from a job I plan on doing a few test and posting the results. I just have to get some downtime.
