So I cleaned my first home today using the Bandit soft wash system from Pressure Tek. Asphalt roof and vinyl siding.
Roof mix was roughly 50/50 SH. Vinyl was a little less (25%) with no cleaning issues. I had some trouble getting the solution up there, as the further I sprayed, the harder I had in getting soap that far. Ended up getting on the roof to make things much easier.
Here are a couple pics…
Good job, looks great!
Looking good!
Nice before and afters!
Don’tcha just love roof cleaning!?

25% on siding is a H O T mix and can cause lots of damage. Try downstreaming or read up on mixing for housewashing with an electric pump
Looks good… Keep up the good work
Nice work, those images should be put up on your website in a gallery for your potential clients to see… Did you take the Before Shots?
Not sure what you mean by “getting soap that far”. How much are you using? Also, 50/50? Our roof cleaning mix is usually 3 parts water, 50/50 would be strong even using a generic 8% bleach from Home Depot.
I agree, 50/50 is strong, for shingles I go with 30-35% mix and for houses I downstream 2.5 - 3 gal per 5 gal of mix. If I were using a pump it would be 1.5-2 gal per five. Like you said, this was your first one so I’m certain youll toy with your ratios to get a feel for what worksbest or what you feel most comfortable with
This being my first one, yes i probably had the mix a little high. I have however since then been able to get a better ratio. The bandit system has been a great addition to my tools. I do have several pics of jobs i have done since summer. They are on my website.
Thanks for all of the input. I read it, just never responded on here.
Why can’t I see the pics from my phone?
