what surfactant/soap?
I tried out southern drawl from southeast South wash. Just about two or three oz of it
2-3 ounces wasnāt enough for 20 gallon batch I donāt believe.
Thsts what Iām thinking, but Iāve never cleaned a roof.
Thers a video on YouTube of coty saying itās nothing special. From the sellers mouth.
Never used Cotys surfactant but I usually put in 1/2 -1 ounce per gallon using Cling On from Pressure Tek. Some can use less, I believe Slow mo you can use a lot less, never have used it though.
Yeah I was probably a little lite on everything, Iāll step it up just a bit on my next try.
Thatās exactly what Iāve been hearing and seeing, Iāll stick that same formula going forward that you mention
Yeah I remember him saying that as well. I want to try a couple of types and see which one I like. I need to stick to the 1 once per gallon that Iāve been hearing about
Are you going back to redo it?
Going to, I got to make right
Seems like your mix was too weakā¦ almost looks like you downstreamed it lol. I personally like going a little bit stronger and then dialing it in if its working way too fast for confort
While I may be mistaken as Iāve never cleaned a tile roof. Iāve only cleaned metal and asphalt roofs with a 12v. Didnt you @florida_condo_cleani say this was an acceptable way to clean them? I know you do alot of them down there and trust your judgment. Please correct me if Iām wrong.
There are many videos on youtube of people using a basic surface cleaner to clean tiles. As I showed, there are specialized tools also available for the task.
There was a thread on here not too long ago about different construction methods used in the U.S. and overseas. I believe it was the aussies that were using surface cleaners on tile roofs, because their construction permitted it. In the U.S., an asphalt shingle roof with tar paper/roof felt/ice dam underneath and sheathing underneath - that wouldnāt be a good idea.
Sorry Iām not following. Whatās the question ?
