Vacuum filtration and send it back to the landscape should work. Maybe run it through a sand trap before the filters.

Like the sirocco systems? Any recommendations on specific units? Started off looking at the 120v systems like @Jordie uses but then started seeing more people say that the gas are better with more suction.

Dang, thats crazy. I will let you guys know what my local guy wants for his units.

That 9000 ish was for the 5.5 gpm @3500 psi with the generator and a honda gx630. Generator adds about $700. I wimped out and got the PP 5.5 for $5000 @ the same place @Viking76

Gas is stronger and can run longer hoses. I’ve got the hydrotek azv88. it’s an electric unit. I wanted to see how it goes before sinking 10 to 15k into gas and filtration. although one of my Property managers told me today that she was going to recommend me to another company that has several properties downtown including 4 or 5 parking garages. If that happens then I will probably wind up making a move to a bigger system if not I’ll keep what I have. it’ll be fine for shopping centers. steel eagle is good as well as the hydrotek gas unit. sirocco is good but replacement parts can be a challenge from what I’ve heard from several vendors that carry sirocco. Im not even going to get into the bmp politics caused by a couple of recovery vendors and orgs. water miester is supposed to be a good filtration system. This is a fun industry and very rewarding. good luck to you. this is a great forum despite the occasional drama there’s a lot of knowledge and good people here.

What kind of hot box? After racers offer on his duel axle trailer im leaning towards a 8 gpm hot water skid but if the price is right id come pick it up no need to meet half way or we could just meet uo at the convention. I plan on attending this year now that im actually washing and not just reading.

@Viking76 there’s your answer right there. I don’t mess with mine much. I bought an electric Alkota VFS for cheap that you can add a second blower to if needed. Think I paid $1,800 for it from a guy who used it one season for a small mobile detailing gig. He had just bought new filters and all for it, so I snatched it up incase I ever needed it. Can’t pull much over 50’. Gas is definitely the better option if you’re doing a lot of bigger reclaim specific jobs.

Haha, the drama is entertaining. I think I know about the vendor that is pushing the reclaim units against the industries best interest. If I end up ordering a pressure pro I will get on here to make sure I go with a good vendor.

It’s the Pressure Pro HBS12V60. Literally used it once in the past year. Got no use for it now that I run two 8 gpm machines that are both pushing almost 9 on a bucket test. You can google what it retails for, as it varies from vendor to vendor plus shipping. Currently asking $1,400, but that’s negotiable if I can smell the cash lol! Got two 5.5 legacy pumps laying around that I thought about sticking cheap harbor freight engines on and running one of em with the hotbox, but I doubt I’ll ever get around to that anytime soon.

Russ at Southside equipment is a good guy. I like Dave with powerwash store in Nashville. we’re both ex army and did tours in Germany so it’s fun talking about that. There’s a guy in Vegas named Tony Shelton. I don’t know how to reach him but his company makes the bat guard filters. he would be a good resource for you. he’s always seemed like a good guy.
