marinegrunt do you have one 200ft hose or 2 100s hooked up (not using QC’s im assuming. I’m having a hard time shopping for a new one as half of pressureteks hoses are out of stock and it seems as almost nobody has 200ft hoses for sale mostly all 100s I’m seeing.

I was turned on to United Hose in Canada. They sell it in whatever length you like. You can also get whip lengths in 2’ increments.

David at United. 519-574-2845. Tell him Clara from Ohio referred you. I have read great things about united hose on here.

ok… any safety issues here or stupidity that I am overlooking at 1 am???

the blue tub sitting curb side on fender is still the stacking hannays with 200 ft of pw and 150 ft of supply.

the kayak paddle is the surface cleaner that will rest on a wood frame that will keep it above the plumbing for the buffer tank - but allow access to shut off valve and buffer will be empty when driving. will have a Y for a garden hose whip that will clip to back gate for ease of access.

will find place to mount spare and that metal tool box is a solid old box and it will have extras of QC etc, safety glasses, etc

pw controls are easily accessible on the street side and the vent is to the street side, so orange cone will sit on street at that point.

Rocks from tires are going to blow out that bucket at tote in front!

you mean the pale blue one or the 5 gallon or both? lol… good point. I suppose I could slip a board between them and the rail…

Both will end up broken. The bucket will take more abuse but that tote will be gone first month!

I am pretty sure it is already cracked… very old, but has been fine for riding in the trunk. I may just toss it back in the trunk. I also have a rubbermaid I could put there…

I’d still put a board or plate blocking it. I had 5 gallon SH bucket get poked. And they are pretty sturdy! Lucky it was half full!

I ordered one solid 200’ length from United Hose. It’s really good quality. Get your 200’-250’ for the reel and also get a 3’ whip to attach to the end of the hose and right before the gun. They have good prices so if you need any other whip lines to run from our machine to hose reel now would be the time to get them. I think an 8’ whip was like $14. United Hose Co. is out of Canada but my order was delivered at my door in IL in about 5 days. Be sure to ask for the grey non marking. I see a lot of people getting 250’ lengths and kind of wish I would have. I have an extra old 100’ section rolled up in a 5 gallon bucket in case I need it though.

I think that layout will get you pretty close. You might have to slide the pressure washer forward some but should be easy enough to do.

Once you finally do have all of your equipment on your trailer you can pick up on the tongue and tell if you have close to 50-75 lbs or whatever your 10%-15% is. If you really want to be anal about it you can even use a bathroom or postal scale, some blocks of wood, and have your tongue resting on the scale. You’d first have to have a pretty good idea of what everything weighs though. If unsure you can go to a landfill, scrapyard, or rock quarry and use their scale.

I would just set it up pretty much identical to @Infinity trailer and call it a day.

Quick connect at reel. Lot easier to just unhook hose and move it to the next building sometimes

dang sorry about that! thanks for the advice, boards are easy to come by. love how much folks are willing to help each other on here. If we could just get that to happen in all aspects of our lives! Thanks

Thanks. I don’t really need all those tubs in the trailer. They could go in the trunk no problem allowing more room to move the pw forward.

Wait… 10 to 15% is of the total load of whatever you are hauling right… omg I need more sleep… I had it stuck in my head it was 15% of the empty trailer weight… if it is the whole load on the trailer that makes it a different kettle of fish. I think when I get home from the day job I need to just chill out and do nothing…I am normally pretty darn sharp…

Thanks a million

ok, so now getting a 55 gallon drum and basically copying you… lol, thanks! really appreciate it

Eh, it’s not all that I thought it would be. I’ll be switching to a 65 gallon leg tank at some point. It’ll have a lower profile and more useable capacity, since the bulkhead is lower and the float valve can be installed higher in the lid.

For example, I’m waiting on water for the second time this afternoon. Dual feeding my tank. With the 65 gallon leg tank, I probably would’ve had to wait once, for a few more minutes, to finish this job.

5.5 machine?

Yessir

Dang that sucks… you feeding with a 3/8” hose???

5.5 doesnt put a dent in my 55 gal.

watching with interest… mine is a 5.5 gpm and I am going with a 55 gal on recommendation of Rex at Pressure Washer Products… said 35 was too small and risky…
