First House Wash (lots of mildew and mold)?

One of my friends said I could come do their country house. It is a lengthy drive to the middle of nowhere. I hadn’t planned on doing a soft wash system until I replenished my funds and then I saw these pics. Do you guys think an XJet w/ Snotmenade and SH will be enough, or should I utilize a pump sprayer with more concentrate. I haven’t used the XJet yet, but I’m assuming that this is the type of job that calls for that. What ratios would you guys use on something like this? Have an 8gpm. I have a 24’ pole and brush coming that I planned on using for gutter cleaning as well, but it isn’t here. I have two 5 gallon X Jet pails. Just want to make sure I have enough with me since it is so far out in the country. Hopefully, this will make for some great before and after marketing materials.

Why not just downstream it?

@quadzilla200 Thats just another day of house washing where I’m at here in South Carolina! I’ve never used the xjet system, but I’d downstream that in a heartbeat with “normal” house wash mix if I was doing multiple houses that day (I batch mix for the day). I’d hit it 2-3 times possibly to get it all, but it’ll clean up nicely. Be sure to let the customer know that you don’t know what lies under all that mildew. You may find stains you aren’t trying to target, artillery fungus, or damaged vinyl. Be sure to have a few great before and after photos with permission from homeowner.

I love houses like that! They make for better before and after pics. Since there is no plants or grass, that makes it easy. Just downstream as high of ratio as you can and hit it a couple times. Ones that bad, I like to hit it once with about a 1% mix, do a quick rinse to get most of it off, then hit it again. A brush on an extension pole will get that chimney cleaned up quicker

Had a similar house last year, it took three applications downstreaming with my 8gpm. Came out shockingly clean afterward.

Rinse those windows thoroughly afterward, us window cleaners don’t care to razor off that residue.

Thanks Guys. It was intimidating when I first saw it, but I was excited as well because I haven’t had any extreme before and after photos yet.

That’s about as good of a before and after as you’re going to get. Those are the satisfying ones to wash, grab it.

Just wait. You’ll eventually get so many you won’t even want to take new ones

Had one like that couple years ago, makes a good before and after…
