The only way I can figure is that itās a pulley thing in theory you could get it done. But I dont know I have seen his in action works good. Low psi high gpm.
You could with a transmission I guess but could you imagine what it would cost. You could probably buy 5 machines for the price of one
I would say if you plan on doing mostly house washing get the 5.5/2500 machine. It rinses much quicker. But if youāre looking to do house washing along with many driveways Iād get that 4/4 belt machine with the cat pump or a general. A lot of guys run those machines and still use them as back ups. Some even get 5gpm out of the belt drive cat pump.
I my be wrong, but I believe the threading choice was on purpose, done in order to prevent the fittingās from working loose
