Field Repairs

I’ll take all my old hoses and find the good spots and head to the hydro shop and have them put new ends on for about $14. Then you got plenty of whiplines for yourself and feed line from your heater to your reels etc…I think I go through hose alot faster than most on here because I ds alot of acids. But I also don’t ds SH.

As @Hotshot mentioned most blow outs happen within 10 feet from gun if not 1 foot from gun so just buy use a short whip line off end of your hose as a sacrificial section…they’re much cheaper to replace than 50-100ft of hose. It’s still good to have 100+ft of extra on trailer ready to go though.

This is what I’m doing , I’ve read from many on here than repairing a hose is not really worth it and it’ll eventually rip again

Yes, This is what I do… I have a rule, once a hose pops it’s going in the bin. Hell I popped one today 5 minutes into the job, rolled it up and tosed it…

It does get bulky in the reel but works for me, I replace them 50 feet at a time, when I buy a new hose it goes in the front! (My lead hose) for my safety the lead hose is always the newest of them all.

I use to buy 100 foot sections and I learned my lesson
