Thats gonna be a tough one. The only reason I don’t like my BV is the weight. If i had employees they would never use it though, thing is like a firehose on a 7/3 I cant imagine an 8/3500.
I tried 3d printing one out of photopolymer but it kept leaking and was kind of stupid. It did achieve the goal of being really light though. Back to the drawing board I guess
I saw your message and took these today. I only run 200’ of pressure hose on my reel so sometimes I need some more length. Instead of turning off my machine to add a new hose I just hook up my gun to the end of a 50’ and attach the hose at the BV. I couldnt believe the difference it made the first time I washed without a BV at the end of the gun. Cutting out the jrod for the M5 twist makes it all the easier. Its not a huge weight difference but it does make the feel a lot smoother and easier. Is my BV different than yours? Cause I could go for a lighter one
Question- what length is your lance and where did you get it? I know I read somewhere that @Innocentbystander recommended a certain length, @dcbrock is using it as well?
That lance is 12". Cost $13 from my local Landa store but its aluminum and feels kinda fragile. If you have an old gun laying around you can take out the inner tube and you’ll see a little 6" lance thats even better. I tried to do that with my old gun but i kinda messed up the threads. A very wise, very old man told me you just need a 6" lance to straighten water for house warshin
Sheesh, you’re all out of balance. Even your BV is backwards. I’ll take pic of mine here in a little while. I’d quit washing if I had to use that contraption.
I understand the ball valve for the hose addition you mentioned however i couldn’t imagine it gliding on the ground well. Instead of rinsing with bv why not use a soap tip. Also the aluminum wands have endured lots of use with my 4 gallon. I always wear a pocket t shirt and keep a 10040 rinse tip and shooter soap tip. I also keep various lengths of wands but use the 1 footer for soap and 4 foot to rinse. The 6’ is for bad gutters
