Female Garden Hose Thread to Female 1/4 Quick Connect?

Does this even exist? I’ve searched and looked everywhere and the can’t find anything like what I’m looking for. I want to use this on my 12v garden hose sprayer and then use my Jrod or soap tip to get a more even pattern. This is the garden hose sprayer I use. I buy them for $1.50 so I’d love to find a way to make this work because they’re so easily replaceable.

I’ve seen those PVC wands but I’m not too keen on having a ball valve in case I drop it or have to throw it as I fall off a ladder. Can you get a closer pic of the second picture? I realize it’s completely different threads than what I’m trying to do but I may have to go that route instead of using my cheapo sprayers

I like running just a ballvalve instead of the gun. I control the flow with the ballvalve.

That’s pretty slick man. Air hose ?

Kuritec hose. The one with the gun is 5/8 and the one with the ballvalve is 1/2.

@marinegrunt is using flexzilla air hose with his. He said its awesome.

I plan to use Flexzilla when I actually upgrade mine. Hell, I don’t even have a reel for my 12v yet. Do you see better performance with the 1/2" or 5/8"?

That’s why I like the sprayer I have. I can control the flow and it shuts off when I let go of it if I ever have to

The 5/8 is rick to use with his gas pump but it sucks for 12volt and is extremely heavy to reel in.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I bet its heavy. I use 1/2" garden hose and it’s great but I know it won’t last long. It handles the 7gpm just fine though

I would want to risk useing a hose hose. I could only imagine the damage of a busted line in a high end garden :disappointed_relieved::disappointed_relieved:

Its definitely not ideal and I certainly don’t recommend it to anyone. I don’t do a lot of roofs so I don’t use my 12v a lot but when I do I’m always very observant. The hose I have is rated to 100psi so I’m not getting anywhere near it’s pressure rating but I’m definitely upgrading this winter. I’ll probably just buy a built rig and just keep this pump and battery as backups

Dont buy a built one. Make one so you can customize it to your trailer you have all winter to play with it.

I just want one that has some sort of frame so I can mount it on the trailer without having to have a rack welded up or having to buy another toolbox to mount the pump and stuff inside of

Could but a under the bed box to put it in and still come out cheaper.
Check out this pic @UncleRicoRules sent me.

That’s clean. I like the quick connects from the reel to the pump

Mine has seen better days though lol

Yes. It can be done. You want 1/4” for your jrod, not 3/8, btw.

So far all of the adapters I’ve found that go directly from 3/4 fgh (female garden hose) to 1/4” mpt (male pipe thread) have been brass. Like this:

Then you’d just put a 1/4” qc socket on the end.

@Grizz Yeah, I built that softwash system for way cheaper than the pre built stuff people sell online, AND mine has a proportioner that isnt included when you buy pre built ‘assemble at home’ setups. That thing alone at PWS is like 1200 bucks lol. I think I got like 1500 into that entire build maybe?

The better option would be pvc:

Use a short piece of 1/2” pvc as a lance and then adapt down to the 1/4” qc the same as they do on the other softwash guns.

Oh, and swap out your rubber garden hose washers for the cheap plastic ones. They shouldn’t dry out and crack as quickly.
