Favorite way you guys get leads?

I’ve been door knocking and it might be my pitch but I’ve had a hard time landing ? I’m not sure how to run Facebook ads but I’m willing to look into it if you guys give feedback that supports that. Just wondering what has personally worked best for y’all.

We moved to the Louisville area in 2008 and worked as a 1099 for a couple years. Back then Angie’s List was fairly decent and we got our foot in the door running ‘coupons’ and ‘Big Deals’. Once AL merged with Home Advisor everything went to heck but fortunately our name was getting circulated and it took off from there. This was for window cleaning however.

We do have a Google Business page which helps, it’s a shame much of business these days relies on social media. Back in the day you would do ValPak or put a big ad in the yellow pages.

Just a note, we are potentially entering a recession and many big name financial advisors are saying people are cutting back on unnecessary services so brace yourself.

I don’t pay to advertise so, basically anything free… for me the best bang for buck has been word of mouth referrals. Do good work and people will notice and ask. I also post semi-regularly in local facebook groups and on nextdoor, not really even as a sales pitch, more of a look at this crazy transformation or a satisfying cleaning video… anything you can do to get your name consistently out there especially if you’re new in town. One of the guys I know still uses Angies List, but from what he tells me it just sounds like a headache.
