@Clean_Blue I called chapin before buying it, and they said it can take 10% SH all day… But they did not recommend 12.5% in my case 10% is all I can get and it’s all I need… No mold here in cali and if there is, it’s very weak and almost dies just by me pulling up to the driveway… LOL

PS The sprayer lasted me this entire 2020, so it’s doing well!

Just to feign keeping it on topic…I run the $7 walmart pump sprayers and they lost a good while. Sometimes the adjustable tips are terrible and drilled or molded wrong and they put out a crappy pattern. Other than that, they’re easily worth the money.

I’ve had good luck with the chapin bleach sprayers up until recently, not sure if they had a bad batch or what.
I only used 3 or 4 sprayers last year but this year I’ve used almost 2 a week… the all of them have split on the bottom seam.
I thought the HDX sprayers were going to be the answer then the pump stopped working 3 weeks in and I’m on to #2 but we’ll see…lol i bought 5 of them.

best customer service experience.
It came with 1 tip missing, and ordered the 14 foot extension, and they told me not to worry, free
Lost the charger, after 3 months they sent me one for free.

How heavy is that sucker? Like the looks of it. Looks pretty good for small stain and sealing jobs.

Honestly i never use any sprayer as a back pack.
I would guess 12 lb
Dont think it is safe.

I have the cart/dolly with the long hose and long wand, that way i dont carry and stay far away from the fumes

@Hotshot which Chaplin sprayer do you have luck with? I see they have ones that are designed for degreaser and some designed for acid. and they their generic sprayers as well.

I get the cheap $12 2 gallon ones at menards, we run acids and heavy degreasers in them and hold up well, If your running SH through them I recommend the bleach safe ones with the viton seals.

Ok I’ll grab some cheapies, I only want to do fleet washing so I doubt I’ll ever spray sh.

I cant find the chapin sprayers at lowes anymore. They sell a pump called “bleach and more”. It sucks. ive burned through 3 very quickly. It has “pump less” technology. Ironically the pump is whats wrong with these things. I was beginning to get disappointed with the chapins. Mine kept breaking the tanks. But id love to have them back! I need a reliable sprayer. I guess ill try the ace version and report back. Any suggestions. I don’t do Amazon or walmart

The ACE ones are Chapins with a relief valve which I do like having.

Not having a pressure relief valve was the only design flaw with the cheap chapins. So it sounds like a winner. Thanks

I agree with Racer. I buy a dozen or so Ace ones at the beginning on the year. They’re like $18

Are they 1 or 2 gallon containers? I was looking at mine as I was taking apart my rig yesterday and they are getting worn.

I too came on to say chapin bleach pump sprayer. has never been problematic, the stream is always spot on.

I use 1 gallon but I think they have 2 gallon too
