Farm sprayer

I recently had a farmer relative ask me what would take off ag chemical residue on his sprayer. Mostly on the booms but some on the body of the sprayer. Hot water and soap and brush took some off but not all of it. I told him I don’t know but I know a good place to find the answer. What do you all think?

Hey Ace, are those booms aluminum? It might take a two step process to clean them. I’m right down the road from you in Salem.

Hey Don! Yes part of the booms were aluminum and some painted steel. He ended up getting an acid and a soap from SureClean in Tangent. It cleaned up pretty good I believe. I didn’t do the job however.

Yea, I figured it would take some kind of two step process like the fleet washing guys do.
