Facebook Boost Verses Ads

For those that use FB for marketing and use ads and boost post, what do you see in results that is different between the two very similar options for marketing on the platform?

I used to think there was a difference…but there is not. Only difference is your boosting an existing post vs creating one specifically for an ad.

One thing you can take advantage of though is creating a post and letting family and your pages Facebook friends like it and share it. By this your creating social proof. Then boost it with the intention of converting sales.

Think about it, and when you see an ad on fb with 30 likes , 4 comments, and 6 shares you’ll be more interested in looking into it. VS an ad with zero likes or shares.
