Hi. Need some advice. What do you guys do about windows on an exterior house wash? Even after rinsing the heck out of them, I still get some customer complaints about a whitish film left behind on their windows and screens. I believe I am using a very basic house wash mix of 1%-2% strength with Elemonator as my surfactant. Can’t quite figure this one out.
Thanks for all of your suggestions! Mike

Hmm, some of your wording sounds familiar…

In my experience, it could just be the oxidation from the vinyl or aluminum trim and flashing rinsing down the window…I will wash and squeegee the windows afterwards if I didn’t tell them ahead of time that it could happen… A satisfied customer is always worth the extra 30 minutes.
You’re either not rinsing enough or letting the mix dry on the glass.
1 to 2 per cent is pretty high for HW mix
Too much surfactant.
