I’m a bit skeptical.

The only roof that it might be worth the risk on would be an old worn out roof and then if it didn’t help, you would be the bad guy for selling them something that didn’t work.

I’m out.

BEWARE!
The ARMA says not to allow anyone to apply any roof coatings. This is a common sales gimmick. Usually pressure washing companies-not roof cleaning companies-will pressure wash a roof and then sell an after coating, which they want to reapply every 2 years. Names like Roof-A-This or that. Not wanting to name any specific one. Read the ARMA warning below.

you’ll put yourself out of business.Plus ,if you ever have to walk that roof again, won’t sealant make it slippery ?

I believe that products like Roof-Ahh-Cite [ not a real name ] make customers sign a contract for them to reapply their copper sulfate poison every 2 years. The whole scam is to get bi-yearly work. Of course, a properly cleaned roof lasts more than 2 or even 3 years anyway. Mine average close to 4 years. The key is to totally eradicate all living algae. That’s why the ARMA, Gaf, Owens Corning and Pabco etc, say to clean with bleach-to KILL the algae with a fairly strong bleach solution. A pressure washing machines downstream injector only puts out 8-12% not enough to kill off all living algae.
By the way, the plants in the below video are about 12’ from the house and were not touched.
