Empty Drum Uses

So I have 12 empty 55 gallon drums. I can’t be the first person with this issue. Any useful suggestions and uses?

Build a raft. Send them back to your bleach guy.

Sell them all day long on Craigslist. $20 for my 30’s and $30 for the 55’s

wow, you’d be lucky to get $15 in my area. Nice.

I was thinking plastic 55 poly barrels. If these are steel haha no way. My bad

But what if your bleach guy lives upstream? Then you’ll need a motor for the raft…

Why doesn’t your supplier take them back. Cut the top off and make trash can, cut both ends off and make a leaf can. Clean them out and sell them for 25 bucks each

I see what you did there. And I have a trolling motor on my raft.

Our market 8s cheaper too. Some people give them away to get rid of them.

Does anyone ship sh in steel barrels? :flushed:

Idk? They were talking about burning things in the barrels so i figured it wasn’t poly lol

No way. SH is so caustic it would eat a hole in it in before it got to where it’s going. I think @DantheWindowMan was trying to be funny or he ordered a 55 gallon drum of oil or something…lol

The plastic ones sell for $10 around here. Not even worth the hassle of messing with selling them if you ask me. When I buy drums from a pool store they require a $100 deposit or your own drums the first time and then you just exchange them after that. When I order from the chemical supplier I have to keep them.
