Email Marketing

Who do you guys go to for designing a template? Not sure what it’s called. But I’d like something to email my clients with a small incentive… I guess like what you mail coustomers but for email only not print…

Also any ideas are welcome

Mailchimp makes it super easy, and free up to a certain number of people

I’ve used fiverr, but a simple text email saying: “Hey, hope you’re doing well! It’s been a year or better since we were out and just wanted to check in and see if you needed anything from us.”

It’s been much more well received as it’s a lot more personal than some fancy html get up.

I wish I had stored all the numbers of previous customers…

Rookie mistake Captain. Past customers first followed by last years inquiries are the easiest to book.

I have most somewhere in my google calendar I guess.

If you write down all the numbers on your notepad and spend an hour calling, I bet you book a quarter of them. I’ll fill April with past customers. At least 60.

Simple is best when it comes to email marketing. I just did this campaign and got a bunch of leads off it. The most important stat you can view on email marketing is how many unsubscribe. If you flood the inbox with junk they will unsubscribe. Simple works best.

What you mean? Do you not use any type of CRM that keeps this information for you?

With Mail chimp you can make a basic email…but here’s the catcher…

You can upload your customer list with names and emails and then in Mailchimp you can have it personally adress each client by their name.

About 2 minutes to write the email and One more minute to upload your customer list. 3 mi utes to send emails to hundreds of past clients.

I could never imagine writing hundreds of individual emails

Also throughout the year I send DIY tips on how to protect their deck before winter, merry Christmas, other kind of diy tips.

If your only ever emailing them to sell they’ll probably unsubscribe.

1 out of every 5 emails should be to sell

How effective it it??

Absolutely not. The mail chimp thing that fills in their name is a must.

As others have said, Mailchimp is were it is at. Keep it simple and consistent. I have different email lists for different types of clients and email everyone about every two weeks or so. Hands down the best thing I’ve done to grow my business.

Nice!

Thanks for Sharing, I’ll get on it

Depends on your customer base…the ones that reply afterwards with wanting to get work doesn’t surprise me. There the stay at home mom whose 45 and trying to keep up with Jones’s. But it’s effective and free.

I think the key thing this year is going to be compiling a customer list that fits that criteria, inputting it into Facebook audience, and then creating a look a like audience. FACEBOOK will look into all of those customers and see what they have in common and then compile a “look a like audience” for you to target.
