One outs a Capitol crime outlined in the Bible and recognized throughout history worldwide as a crime. The other is social morals imposed by the govt for revenue. Alcohol and tobacco are drugs just like heroin or crack. Some are taxed and regulated and some arenā€™t, based on the current whims of the elected. Alcohol has led to more crimes and injuries than any other drug, but it is currently socially acceptable, and taxed. Govt saw revenue in taxing and legalizing marijuana in a lot of states. Tax it all, take away the nanny state, natural selection will take over after that. Itā€™s snowing and I canā€™t work. Keyboard is my stress outlet more lol

I feel ya. I just finished washing windows at a bank and itā€™s 40 and cloudy here. Now Iā€™m headed to the gym for a workout unless I bypass the machines and go straight to the sauna first :grinning:

they do need to be in the country to apply for asylum but our embassyā€™s are considered part of the US and they can apply in their home country at our embassy. If they truly rate consideration for asylum it will happen quicker than trying to cross the border because it is much easier to check their circumstances from there than it is from here.
As for the CS gas, meh. They could have waited until they got on this side of the border and then shot them since they were throwing rocks at the BP. We just had an agent killed by a rock thrower so these arenā€™t rocks kids throw at each other.

Actually, you cannot apply for asylum at an embassy or consulate. Our law requires that you apply within the actual United States. I am not aware of any border guard killed by a rock. Trump referred to one that died last year after falling over a cliff chasing someone. His head landed on a rock. The barbiturates in his system may have led him to not pay attention to where he was running.

You linked a year old story about an agent that fell down a cliff and hit his head. on a rock His autopsy showed that he had barbiturates in his system. His death, while tragic, has nothing to do with anyone at the border now, nor was it caused by anyone throwing rocks.

I wish everyone that posted on facebook about how much they wanted snow would be at my shop at 7am tomorrow. About 1100 units to clean gutters on before Christmas and two inches of snow and ice on the roofs.
