Curious as to what fittings I need to eliminate the lance off the end of my gun to quick connect jrod. Currently using a st 2315
I use ss 1/4” pipe nipple 10” long, but you can use whatever length you desire. Then add a 1/4” ss quick connect for j-rod or nozzles and you are good to go.
Yeah I’m just trying to figure out the piece in between the quick connect and the bushing in the gun… Maybe a 1/4 to 3/8 reduced bushing ?
You can use a female threaded quick connect and just use the stainless steel nipple to connect it to the suttner gun
You’d want as they said. Would be 1/4 quick connect coupler with male threaded on end to thread into gun. Then you can put a 1/4 quick connect plug female on the end of your lance thats currently attached to gun and swap between just jrod or lance with jrod on end.
The end of the 2315 gun uses 1/4" fittings for the lance. If the lance you’re trying to attach is a different size you can either get a bushing or adapter to size it down to 1/4" or just buy a new 1/4" lance. Without knowing what size the lance is we can’t help. It might even be metric. Where did you get it or what machine did it come with? I would just buy some new lances.
I am trying to eliminate the lance so that it is like the gun that was posted earlier in the thread.
Just buy a 1/4" 6" stainless nipple. That’s basically all a lance is. You can then either put quick connects on the gun end so you can swap it out with a longer lance when needed or just get a 1/4" coupling and screw it in.
Here’s a 6" nipple. Is that what size you want? My bad. You aren’ worried about the nipple or lance. You’ll just need a 1/4" female quick connect with male threads to screw into the end of your 2315 gun. Then on all your lances just use 1/4" quick connects. Male on one end female on the other.
The quick coupler 1/4 mpt @marinegrunt posted. Put on the gun it will be just like the one i posted and eliminate the lance. If your not looking to use that lance then thats all you’ll need. Or can do as he said and put that nipple on then a female qc to attach your nozzles. Far as the lance threads im used to them being 1/4 also so you’ll have to figure out the size and reduce it to 1/4 or buy a new lance whatever size you choose that is 1/4 if you want the option of a lance if needed.
