Just got a 3-7 gpm dstwist but it won’t pull chem while going right back to my jrod and shooter tip pills fine. I have a7gpm pump with 200ft of hose. I’m thinking the 7-12 one would work? Don’t even know if my place will take it back. Honestly I’m not too crazy about atomization with it but I know a lot like it.
There’s got to be a reason it’s putting more back pressure on the injector. Have you checked for trash in it? Can you see through it looking up into the sky. I’ve never messed with one, anybody know what the body has to do with anything??? I would imagine it just serves to help with turbulence.
Can you remove the male plug and take a picture down the hex body?

Not the M5DS, but x-jet… I’d be willing to bet dollars to donuts it’s the exact same part in the M5DS, just not drilled and tapped for the chemical hose barb. I can check tomorrow

Pure fleetwasher silliness! I’ll show the gun here when it’s finished. It weighs under a 1lb vs the competitors 4lb assembly. The DS injector is at the gun, the two low pressure tubes carry acid and high ph soap. Switching between acid, soap and rinse all happens at the gun using a two way ball valve and a 3 way ball valve.

I own 3 of them and they all pull great with 8.5 gpm machines and 250’ of hose. Call the company, he’ll work through it with you or send you a new one. There’s not that much to them. You’re somehow creating too much pressure, just check the insides that something is not blocking.

It could also be from a restriction in the trigger gun. Corrosion or a bit of trash + the orifice in the M5DS = no pull from injector, Corrosion or a bit of trash + his other nozzles = a ok
