Ds injector noise

Just installed a gp hi flo da injector with a 3 way poly valve. One side goes into my buffer tank , other for a tank.
It is making a loud noise and it definitely is coming from that. When I use a wand with a tip no noise but more using a ball valve rinse it sounds loud, ( I can’t seem to upload a video)
Is this normal?

It is telling you that a ball valve is made to be opened or closed. It isn’t a nozzle.

Never used it half open, I used it fully open to rinse down the driveway.

If it’s pulling thru injector, will make noise. You’re restricting flow. Injector bypass will eliminate.

That’s a bit confusing, with the ball valve full open it’ll just kinda dump out 5’ in front of you with no pressure. How can you rinse off a driveway like that?

Or am I not getting the memo.

I first rinsed with a white tip but at the end I was rinsing with a full open ball valve because I had to dump water anyway because the job was done

Ok you need to be using a much lower pressure rinse nozzle, somewhere around 1000psi. All that white tip is doing is making mist.

Did you mou t it close to the reel

Huh? I use my white tip all the time for chasing dirty water if I’m not using BV

I guess it would depend on what white tip he’s using. The one that came with my washer is hidden in the glove box of my truck. But I have two other I purchased maximize my water flow with more appropriate PSI.

Yes right next to it.

Its resinating though the reel

Thanks all I can live with the noise just wanted to make sure it’s common.

Ok I gotta try that next time. 3000psi rinsing…

Typically use my BV but when I have a lot of debris and dirty water water to chase across asphalt I use it a lot.

Do you have a white tip that you use for wood cleaning? The ones I purchased get me to around 1,600 psi after 150’ of 3/8” hose.

I have the confusion…the colors correspond to the spray pattern. It doesn’t have anything to do with pressure. One guy’s white tip for his 8/3.5k is irrelevant to another’s 3/3k machine.

I rinse concrete with a 2510. It’s way faster than a ball valve and doesn’t give me tennis elbow from whisking that ball valve back and forth. Either works though.
