DS housewash mix for brick?

Hey everyone. My name is Jacob, I’m 20 years old and have been pressure washing for one year tomorrow. Thankfully I found this forum a couple weeks ago and spend a couple hours reading every day. I’ve had so many questions answered and tons of questions that I didn’t even know I should have. So thanks to everyone on here for contributing and helping guys like me. My question is, what ratio house wash mix do you use to wash a brick house? In this particular scenario, the customer’s house is brick on bottom, vinyl on top. Their brick isn’t particularly bad – no outstanding mold or mildew. I think their moldy vinyl on top is the primary reason for calling. If their brick does not have any mold, mildew, efflorescence, etc., can the appearance of the brick still be improved/brightened? And if so what chemical/ratio/application method should I use? Or would I just hit it with my house wash mix for the vinyl.

I don’t typically soap or rinse brick.

I just usually hit with my normal HW mix if nothing obvious. If vinyl dirty then brick probably is too, even if you can’t see it. If they’re paying me to wash the house I do the whole house.

Gotcha. Nothing wrong with that. My commercial bids say exterior siding, to include soffit and trim. That way i don’t have to worry about gutter facings or brick foundations. Kinda carries over into houses i guess.
