Dryvit Cleaning

Been downstreaming since the beginning and just purchased the gen 3 softwash system with proportioner. Making sure that these stains on the dryvit will be able to be removed as we don’t have a lot of experience with this type of work. All research suggests that it does, I just wanted to post to be sure. Thanks in advance.

After using the Gen 3 please do a review on it. I’m considering it myself and would like to know how well it works. I’m debating on that system versus building one piece by piece and mounting it inside one of the tool bins on my utility bed. That will save on floor space on the trailer I’m just concerned about bleach inside that bin. But I think if I Line-X it it would probably be okay Thanks

I have the Gen 3 and it works well. It has definitely paid for itself. May not be necessary if you are not cleaning roofs though

I will be. The roof cleaning market here is wide open. It’s just a matter of educating people that they can be cleaned.

I bought the dual pump gen 3 system for $1650 about 4 months ago. I don’t have a proportioner I just do batch mixing. It has been a great tool for me cleaning roofs and really dirty brick. Also for post treating driveways. I usually just keep my mix at 4% unless I’m doing a metal roof I will drop it down to 2%.

yep, will clean it right up. that’s pretty bad, may have to hit a few times, but since it’s low can use a little pressure on it. Probably about a 4% mix. You never know with some of those type stains, may come off with one hit and I’ve had some that were baked in that took 4-5 times. Let dwell about 5-10min each one and don’t rinse till you see it working.

Don’t think I landed the job bc they were needing it done by the end of the month but thanks for everyone who responded!

Skip, I don’t regret buying the gen 3 skid it has worked great since purchasing but I don’t think I would buy it without the proprotioner. It’s a huge time saver not having to batch mix. Dial in for what you are cleaning and spray! It’s that easy!

I almost went with air but for what I do I decided to go with the Gen III with the proportioner. I’m going to Nashville next week to pick it up. I’ve already booked enough jobs to pay for it and have some left over. I’m upgrading my current 5.5 hot water unit to a 8 GPM Monday and my 8 GPM cold water unit should be in the following week.
