On the post treat. Re-done drive looks much better. Now don’t ever leave a job till it looks like that, lol
On pre-treating - water alone can be a good pre-treatment. The absolutely best time to clean concrete is after it’s been wet for awhile. Like a good rain the night before and it’s still damp. Softens it up.
Everyone in the cleaning business should take over the dishwashing chores in the house for a week. Would learn more about cleaning that reading on here for a week. If you soak a dried on food dish in cold water will take about 15-20 min to soften up. Warm soapy water about 5 min. Drives are the same, pretreating helps, but it’s the keeping it wet almost as important as the chemical unless just absolutely terrible.
I think it only took me 30 minutes when I Did it the first time and had the stripes.
I took at least 75 minutes, probably closer to 90 minutes.
Anyone watching would’ve been like, “What is that guy doing?” I was going so slow.
Great video by the way. I never thought in a million years I’d get a bowl of popcorn on a Friday night, sit in my favorite chair, and watch a YouTube video on pressure washing.
How dare you! Are you trying to get our wive’s to mail you cookies or something?
The driveway turned out great @qons . It can be hard to keep a slower pace until you get a feel for how you should be moving. When I first started I always caught myself trying to speed up especially when I had another job to get to. Move a little too fast and it ends up costing you a lot of time from having to go over it again. I’ve been there before.
Hope you & your family had a great Christmas…This is Howard Stidham in Glasgow, KY again trying to get info from the experienced one…
I am building a downsized trailer (5 x 8) from my 6.5 x 12 that I sold…Bought a new Honda GX390 and added a Udor 5.5 gpm gear drive pump…question is regarding which surface cleaner (Whisper Wash classic - 19" or Ultra - 16")…I had a Classic with my other GX390 / 5 gpm - 3000 psi and it worked fine…now that I went with a 5.5 / 390, I figure I will be at a little over 2300 psi, then around 2100 with 200’ of hose…
I presume the 16" Ultra would be best for this setup, but what size tips would you recommend with this unit? Would a four nozzle bar work with this setup or just stay with a two nozzle…I just do residential drives, patios & sidewalks…
Sorry for being long winded and if you are to busy to reply, I fully understand.
Don’t think Bob carries them. Russ sent me one because I didn’t want to give my money to Xterior, but my Landa guy just bought it so all is back to normal in little world
Man, I’ve got ten more years before I got 60. I was standing below to catch him if he fell and he blew about a hundred little lizards into the yard. I don’t do reptiles.
