Dress code/Logo shirts

I am about to invest in a few sample batches of company logo shirts. Some t-shirts for work/labor days, and some polo shirts for sales/estimating days. Does anyone else use a logo shirt as a marketing tool? If you have bought company logo shirts, do you feel like it has good ROI?.. if not from a marketing standpoint, then at least a company image standpoint?

Does anyone enforce any type of dress code during work hours for yourself, and employees if you have them?

Why would you not have company shirts? It conveys an image that needs to be upheld at all times to convey professionalism.

Absolutely everyone that works for our company is in the exact type of uniform all the time anytime your company logo is on your uniform you are advertising and anytime your employee is using your logo make sure their comportment is exemplary

Yes I have a dress code (even though it is mostly just me!). Logo polo tucked in with tan pants or shorts. People are usually very impressed.

YEP! Would NEVER go out on an estimate without a new Mr Sparkle shirt on, or to work without an old one:

Pocket REALLY important to me. Problem is, cotton doesn’t hold up to bleach very well. I bought TYVEK suits the other day and discovered that it works really well, everywhere but the collar, so now I have yet another screwed up shirt. I NEED POLYESTER! Does anyone have a really good polyester shirt with a collar and pocket to recommend?

Ill have shirts for next year… few polo shirts, and a handful plain white shirts.

Why black?

I posted a couple things about shirts here. It doesn’t really matter what color or fabric you’re gonna have to replace them regularly. I like the quick dry type, but even still I place an order 3x a year.

Wesley Snipes said “Always bet on black.” That’s not really why, the real color of that shirt is Navy. Why Navy? Ask @squidskc.

I wouldn’t go black but def not white. The idea of a uniform is to convey professionalism… A filthy white t doesn’t exactly say that. Mayne grey, blue, etc… Personally I’m all tan dickies. Shirts and shorts. No pants I’m in San Diego. Employees can wear pants if they want but buy 10 am everyone regrets it.

Insurance savings for using orange or lime green. I switched from heather gray to orange last year. 90%cotton 10% poly. Not much fading

I don’t have business shirts. Maybe if I work for IBS for free he will send me a box of shirts for Christmas… Hey wait a minute that’s not free…, man another plan gone bad…

Well I guess I’m stuck with “ole Crusty” for a while…

My 6 year old daughter was near the tv when I was reading this thread and saw your shirt. She said “daddy I like his name better than yours.” She wants a shirt

Found the same shirts on east bay for 7.99 just ordered 10 of them is that a decent price @squidskc

I pay $20/piece, $23 for the monster who wears 2 XLs, with sublimation, but I don’t know what I pay for the shirt.

We all wear white coveralls easy to work with with harnesses lifting belts back belts Etc easy to stuff inside of rubber boots light and Airy when you’re up on a hot roof and you can layer underneath and still look professional although you may look like the Michelin Man name tag and logo above the pocket any certification patches go on the sleeves

Who are you going through for sublimation to get $20/piece?

Local shop. I was going through big frog which is a chain, but found a place called Squid Shirts or Squid Screenprinting, I forget, but it felt appropriate to switch.
