I use the Schertz box and have no plans on doing this. But I am curious about this and am hoping to understand better. Aside from possibly damaging the ball valve as that’s not how it’s intended to be used, how would restricting the flow with the ball valve be any harder on the unloader than forcing the water out of an even smaller hole using the pressure tip?
