i personally use a downstream injector. Bought my first unit from a rental place by the office and bought 3 injectors from them in the same deal. I’ve used an x jet from one of the box stores and it seemed cheap. I have no experience with a “good” or should I say well made x jet.
Anyone know the difference in dilution ratios for down streaming vs x-jet? Assuming your house wash is pre mixed.
i want to say all injectors are different or can be set different? I thought DS was 10-1, maybe as high as 15-1. X jet I have no clue, maybe 5-1? Complete guess… Anyone know exact ratios?
usually with xjet for a house wash I can use 2 gallons sh, 3 water and a dab of soap and get 2 sides of a house but i don’t want to carry buckets around… I don’t know the ratio but I know it varies if you use the proportioner tips that go in the bottom of the Xjet. When you use the proportioner tips you can just have a bucket full of bleach and wash like that.
well downstream depends on your down streamer, But i think most down streamers are 10:1. You can buy adjustable ones. My x jet m5 has tips for ratios i can install. I run a 10:1 in that also.
Down streamers will vary. To figure your ratio put 1 gal of water in your bucket add some food coloring to it. Have 4 or 5 5 gal pails to fill. With your wand attached run the dyed water through your system. Once the colored water starts coming out fill the 5 gal pails until it stops. Then measure how many gals you have in the pails. Subtract 1 gal from the total and you have your ratio ie if you have a total of 13 gals your ratio is 12:1
